Over the weekend, the WWE Universe invaded Philadelphia for the historic WrestleMania 40. Before the Women’s World Championship match, Pennsylvania metalcore titans Motionless In White took the stage before a capacity crowd of 72,000 fans at Lincoln Financial Field to perform title holder Rhea Ripley’s entrance theme live and loud in person.

Check out the official clip below.

Motionless In White’s raucous performance of “Demon In Your Dreams” provided fuel for Rhea Ripley’s fire. After a grueling bout with Becky Lynch, Rhea retained the Women’s World Title in one of the better matches of the weekend’s stacked card. After winning the 2023 Royal Rumble, Ripley dethroned Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39 and captured the Women’s World Title belt. After whole year on top and a successful stand at WrestleMania 40, Ripley’s reign continues.

Rhea Ripley is a lifelong metalhead, who cites Papa Roach, Suicide Silence, and Of Mice & Men as some of her favorite bands. So, it’s no surprise that she chose an absolute bone-crushing anthem as her entrance theme. Wrestling and rock have a long history together. Over the years, the likes of KISS, Motörhead, Alter Bridge, Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Saliva, Drowning Pool, Nita Strauss, Code Orange, Poppy, and Fozzy, which features wrestling icon Chris Jericho on vocals, have all performed live at WWE events. With the WWE being more mainstream now than ever, hopefully more scorching performances like Motionless In White will happen, giving heavy music a larger platform to reach new fans around the globe.

Later this month, Motionless In White are hitting the road with In The Moment for more dates of their Dark Horizons tour. Motionless In White’s latest album Scoring the End of the World arrived in 2022 via Roadrunner Records. The record took the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. It also gave the band a Top 25 debut, hitting No. 12 on the Billboard 200.
