Philadelphia rock upstarts Silvertide have announced their return after a ten-year hiatus. The group confirmed Wednesday plans to perform live again after inking a booking deal with the Mint Talent Group out of Chicago. Silvertide last played a string of reunion shows in 2013, after having not taken a stage since 2008. The gigs took place at the Theater of the Living Arts in their hometown of Philadelphia, the Sands Event Center (now Wind Creek Event Center) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and the storied Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan.

“We are excited to announce Silvertide has joined the Mint Talent Group family,” the band said on social media. “See you out there, soon.”

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of Silvertide’s seminal debut album, Show & Tell. Released on September 28, 2004 through J Records, it was produced by David Ivory (Halestorm) and mixed by Kevin Shirley (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden, The Black Crowes). The record turned out four huge hit singles for the band – “Ain’t Comin’ Home,” “California Rain,” “Blue Jeans,” and “Devil’s Daughter.” The lead single, “Ain’t Comin’ Home,” hit No. 6 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Two others, “Blue Jeans” and “Devil’s Daughter,” each became Top 25 rock hits for the group.

Additionally, the well-rounded album features heavy hitters like “S.F.C.,” and “You Want It All,” plus the power ballad, “Nothing Stays.” Although they never released a sophomore LP, Show & Tell remains widely regarded as one of the greatest rock albums of the last 25 years, and one of the most spectacular debuts in all of music. Touted as the next Guns N’ Roses, Silvertide toured in support of artists like Van Halen, Mötley Crüe., Velvet Revolver, and Alter Bridge.

In 2014, the band returned to the studio and released the single, “Try, Try, Try.”
