The band’s first LP in six years comes out this summer
After six long years, Loathe are coming back in a big way with forthcoming new album A Stranger to You. The record is slated for arrival on July 17 via SharpTone Records. The lead single “Revenant” is out now, and can be streamed below. Quite possibly the band’s heaviest song to date, “Revenant” features a special guest appearance by NOWHERE2RUN, the new project from Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose of Code Orange.
To support the album, the band is embarking on their A Stranger to You Tour. The 19-city North American leg kicks off on September 19th at Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan, making stops in Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up in San Francisco, California at The Masonic on October 13.
Very special guests for the trek will be Fleshwater and Prostitute.
Tickets will be available starting with a Citi pre-sale beginning on Tuesday, April 28 at 10am local time followed by an artist presale on Wednesday, April 29 at 10am local time. Additional pre-sales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning on Friday, May 1 at 10am local time at the link below
Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, April 28 at 10am local time until Thursday, April 30 at 10pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program.
Engineered, produced, and mixed by the band’s Erik Bickerstaffe along with additional mixing from Ed Al-Shakarchi. A Stranger To You is as brutal and urgent as it is light and considered. The album is anchored in the journey Loathe have experienced since their sudden rise following the release of their now cult-classic I Let It In and It Took Everything — years defined by relentless touring, rapid global growth, and a fanbase that continued to expand at a remarkable pace even in the absence of new music, culminating in a fully sold-out 2025 U.S. tour that moved over 30,000 tickets.
