Earlier today, Foo Fighters announced that Sonic Highways would be title of their upcoming eighth studio album and that it would be released on November 10. Now, the Foos have revealed another audio teaser from the record and announced more details about the album’s physical release. In addition to CD and MP3, the album will be released on special edition 180g vinyl in an assortment of nine different gatefold covers including eight different themes; one for each of the cities in which the album was recorded: Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C. All the covers can be viewed in the gallery below. The vinyls will be made available in a variety of bundles, including a grand package of a ‘Sonic Highways vinyl, CD, flag, t-shirt, and puzzle all in a beautiful wooden box. – by Matt Bishop
