Manowar have postponed their 2026 concerts in Norway, Iceland, and Sweden. Bassist Joey De Maio revealed in a statement that a close member of his immediate family died suddenly, forcing the band to push back their European trek by a month. Joey released a statement to fans providing a detailed update, which can be found below.

“Brothers and Sisters of Metal – The Manowar shows in Iceland, Norway, and Sweden have been rescheduled. Unfortunately, a very close member of my immediate family has passed away suddenly, without any prior illness. I hope none of you ever have to stand in the place where I am standing right now. But should you ever find yourself in a situation such as this, I know you will understand what these moments bring upon a person and their family and friends. I know this may cause an inconvenience for those of you who made plans around the original dates, and I apologize to every one of you for that. The 2027 Kings of Metal Fighting the World Tour dates from Fri, Jan 15, 2027 onward are unaffected and go ahead as planned. I only ask that you respect my family’s privacy during this time. I thank you all for your patience and your loyalty, and I look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming shows.”

Existing tickets will be valid for the rescheduled shows. Each ticket will still scan at the door even though it show’s the original date. A Kings of Metal ticket is still valid for the new Kings of Metal night, and a Fighting the World ticket is still valid for the new Fighting the World night. Tickets cannot be moved between the two nights.

Ticketholders for the show in Reykjavík, Iceland at Harpa will be emailed by the venue directly to transfer the tickets to the new date. No action is needed from the ticket holder. If you cannot attend the new date, a refund is available. Fans must contact the Harpa box office by Fri, 2 October, 2026, 23:59 GMT. After those deadlines, your ticket stays valid for the new date but can no longer be refunded.

Ticketholders for shows in Bodø, Kiruna and Alta must request a refund from your original point of purchase by Fri, 16 October, 2026, 23:59 CEST.

All ticket questions go to your original point of purchase. If you cannot reach them or do not get an answer, please contact Manowar’s ticketing HERE.

Next year, Manowar are launching an extensive world tour. The trek will celebrate two of the band’s storied albums – Kings of Metal and Fighting the World. The first round of dates are slated to start in Germany in early 2027. This is the first leg of the tour, with more dates around the globe slated to be announced in the near future.

Check out the full tour itinerary so far below.

After the band’s triumphant celebrations of Hail To England and Sign of The Hammer on their Blood of Our Enemies Tour, the fans demanded more: more sonic and visual excellence with unforgettable metal hymns, glory, majesty, unity, and more immortal memories. The band heard the call, and will unleash a brand new, awe-inspiring brand spectacle of might celebrating two albums that shaped generations of metalheads around the world and forged the brotherhood that stands unbroken today.

First dates are confirmed for Germany, with more battlegrounds following. These shows will feature alternating setlists, with either the entire Kings of Metal or Fighting the World album performed, plus other epic anthems, with brand-new production.

A limited number of Ultimate Fan Experience upgrades will be available on this tour. This is the most exclusive and personal Manowar live experience possible.
