Sammy Hagar has revealed a short preview from rehearsals for the upcoming Aerosmith & Friends concerts. The gigs are set to take place at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles tonight (October 29) and Sunday, November 1. In the clip shared to his official social media, Hagar can be seen working through a rendition of the Aerosmith classic “Draw the Line” with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Bon Jovi guitarist Phil X, and guitarist Andrew Watt.

Other major special guests include The Black Crowes, Eric Church, Tom Morello (Rage Agains the Machine), Billy Idol, Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), Sully Erna (Godsmack), and many more. In the coming days, with additional surprise guests yet to be revealed.

Yesterday (October 28), Aerosmith shared a photo with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl from their rehearsal space – with two drum kits in the background.

After previously announcing Slash and Duff McKagan as special guests, Aerosmith recently confirmed that the full lineup Guns N’ Roses will now take the stage.

“Aerosmith & Friends just got a little louder,” the band said in a statement. “Excited to share that our special friends, Guns N’ Roses, will be joining us for these iconic nights at the Bowl!”

Additionally, the most welcomed surprise is the return of drummer Joey Kramer to the Aerosmith lineup. Kramer retired from the road just before the band announced their final trek in 2023. He was featured in the band’s new promo photo for their upcoming gigs, and is back on drums in their new rehearsal photos. Given the fact that this is a two-show event, and not a full-fledged tour out on the road, it’s no surprise that Joey has come out of retirement to share the stage again with his Aerosmith bandmates.

While these two exclusive sets are surely going to be jam-packed with some of the band’s biggest hits, there is still the chance that Aerosmith could surprise us. Despite performing for over five decades, there’s still quite a few songs that the band has never played live. Maybe they’ll pull one or two songs from this list out of the Attic and let them see the lights of a stage for the first time – and maybe the last time.

A very limited amount of tickets are still available HERE.
