Today, Foo Fighters have added an extensive North American trek to their rapidly growing list of 2015 world tour plans. The run kicks off with the band’s 20th Anniversary BBQ Show at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. on the Fourth of July with special guests including Buddy Guy, Heart, Joan Jett, Gary Clarke Jr., and others and wraps up on October 7, 2015 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. Royal Blood and Mission of Burma will serve as special guests on select dates respectively. In order to avoid bots and scalpers, the band has set up box office pre-sales so fans can purchase tickets in person. Box office pre-sales begin this Saturday, November 22 and all box office locations can be found at FooFighters.com. Online pre-sales begin Monday, December 1 and public on-sales begin December 4 and 5.
Foo Fighters are also set to headline Pinkpop Festival 2015 on Sunday, June 14, 2015, in Landgraaf, Netherlands. Recently, Foo Fighters announced a stadium tour of the UK in 2015 with special guests Iggy Pop and Royal Blood, as well as a massive arena tour of Australia and New Zealand with very special guests Rise Against that kicks off in February. Both bands just played the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans. Foo Fighters new disc dropped November 10 via RCA Records and debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200. Last week, frontman Dave Grohl performed a solo acoustic set a The Concert For Valor in Washington, D.C. His version my “My Hero” was a fitting tribute to the troops.
