“A very good friend of ours asked us tonight if he could come and join us up on stage for ‘Highway to Hell’“

Just when you thought the last show of AC/DC’s PWR UP Tour couldn’t get any crazier, think again.
Last Friday (September 25), AC/DC were forced to reschedule their show in New Jersey due to the oncoming nor’easter storm. Authorities ultimately made the call due to safety concerns from the increasing winds on Friday. The show was quickly rescheduled for Friday, October 2.
AC/DC then recruited very special guests Foo Fighters to join the bill for what would now the final show of their Power Up Tour. Dave Grohl and company will once again be stepping in for tour regulars The Pretty Reckless at the MetLife Stadium gig. The show was another historic event in music, uniting two generational rock bands on the same bill.
As if seeing Foo Fighters as an opening act wasn’t wild enough, frontman Dave Grohl joined AC/DC for one of their biggest. The crowd erupted when he strolled onto the stage. They proceeded to rip through an epic version of “Highway to Hell” as flames lit up the stage.
“A very good friend of ours asked us tonight if he could come and join us up on stage for ‘Highway to Hell,'” said AC/DC singer Brian Johnson.”And we said, ‘Yes, Dave, you can.”
