Groove rock icon Lenny Kravitz has premiered a brand new track “Sex”, the first single off his much-anticipated new studio album Strut which hits record stores on September 23. The new disc will be Kravitz’s tenth studio album, and the follow-up to 2011’s Black and White America which hit #17 on the Billboard Top 200. In 2012 after touring on the album, Kravitz turned his focus to acting with roles in blockbuster films like The Hunger GamesThe Butler, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. In 2009, Kravitz appeared in the Oscar-nominated film Precious. Musically, Lenny Kravitz has released nine studio albums and sold nearly 20 million records worldwide. Throughout his career, he has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards, winning Best Male Rock Vocal Performance four years in a row from 1999-2002. – by Matt Bishop
