Back in March, singer Maria Brink made a special guest appearance on the latest Eva Under Fire single “Villainous.” It is the title track to the band’s forthcoming album that arrives on July 10.

In 2022, In This Moment released the single “Blood 1983,” a collaboration with Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, which blended synthwave influences with the band’s signature heavy sound and demonstrated their willingness to experiment stylistically while remaining commercially relevant in active rock radio.

In 2023, In This Moment released their eighth studio album, Godmode, another collaboration with producer Kane Churko. The album leaned further into industrial and electronic textures while maintaining the aggressive riffs and cinematic atmosphere that had defined the band’s later career. Songs such as “The Purge,” “Army of Me,” and “Damaged” reinforced themes of empowerment, trauma, identity, and resilience that had long been central to Brink’s lyricism. Around the same time, the band embarked on another successful edition of their annual “The Dark Horizon Tour,” co-headlining with Motionless in White and performing at major rock festivals across North America. Their ability to balance mainstream hard rock appeal with gothic imagery and metal influences helped them maintain a loyal fanbase while attracting younger listeners through streaming platforms and social media exposure.

By 2026, In This Moment remained one of the most recognizable female-fronted bands in modern heavy music. Brink, in particular, continued to be celebrated as a prominent figure in contemporary rock and metal, admired for both her outspoken advocacy of self-empowerment and her dramatic stage presence. Since breaking through with albums like Blood and Black Widow earlier in their career, the band has accumulated multiple gold-certified singles, numerous No. 1 songs on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, and a reputation for constantly reinventing their sound and presentation. More than two decades after forming, In This Moment has continued to evolve while preserving the theatrical identity and emotional intensity that made them one of the defining hard rock bands of the 21st century.
