Back on August 8, MGK – aka Machine Gun Kelly – released his new album Lost Americana through EST 19XX/Interscope. MGK once again collaborated with blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who plays drums on four songs and helped produce the record. The all-new Lost Americana debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, and hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Alternative Albums charts. He scored a Top 10 debut in several other countries around the world, including the No. 1 spot on the German Rock & Metal Albums chart. With more than 20.6 billion streams and millions of albums sold globally, mgk continues to push boundaries as a genre-defying artist and electrifying live act.

Following his record-setting Mainstream Sellout Tour — which saw him headline arenas across North America and Europe, including a historic stadium show in his hometown of Cleveland, MGK has announced a massive new world tour. The Lost Americana Tour will see the polarizing pop-punk rocker trek around the globe, beginning this November in North America. The initial 15-date North American run launches on November 18 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, making stops in major cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Brooklyn, Boston, and Philadelphia before wrapping December 19 in Tampa.

The tour continues in early 2026 with a 15-date European leg, kicking off 15 February in Bologna and stopping in Munich, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Birmingham, Dublin and more before concluding 12 March in Dublin. mgk will then bring the Lost Americana Tour to Australia and New Zealand for five arena dates, beginning April 8 in Perth and wrapping April 18 in Auckland. The run resumes in May for a second 29-date North American leg, stopping at amphitheaters in Dallas, Atlanta, Toronto, Seattle and more before concluding July 1 in Ridgefield, Washington.

Very special guests for the trek will be Wiz Khalifa, Julia Wolf, Honestav, Beauty School Dropout, De’Wayne, Mod Sun, and Emo Nite on select dates.

In 2022, MGK released his last proper album mainstream sellout [Bad Boy/Interscope]. The record gave MGK his second consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. It was his second release since shifting his sound to pop punk and alternative rock. It was produced by Travis Barker, who also played drums on every track except one. The album also featured appearances by Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes and Willow.

The Mainstream Sellout Tour that supported the album saw MGK perform sold-out shows around the globe last year. His band featured renowned guitarist Sophie Lloyd. On May 13, 2023, MGK revealed Mainstream Sellout: Live from Cleveland – a one-night-only concert experience in theaters.

MGK has amassed over 15.5 billion streams online and sold over 10 million album units. In 2020, MGK released his first rock album Tickets To My Downfall. The record skyrocketed to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Top Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums charts.

MGK’s genre-spanning career has made him one of the most prominent crossover artists of his generation. Born Colson Baker on April 22, 1990, in Houston, Texas, he grew up moving frequently due to his parents’ missionary work, eventually settling in Cleveland, Ohio, where he began honing his craft as a rapper in his teens. He first gained national attention in the early 2010s with his rapid-fire delivery and raw, autobiographical lyrics, releasing a series of mixtapes that led to a record deal with Bad Boy and Interscope Records. His 2012 debut studio album Lace Up, featuring the hit single “Wild Boy,” solidified him as a rising force in hip-hop. Over the next several years, MGK released albums such as General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017), steadily expanding his sound and audience.

While initially known for his gritty rap style, MGK achieved a dramatic career pivot in 2020 with the release of Tickets to My Downfall, a pop-punk album produced by Travis Barker that marked his first full departure from hip-hop. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the hit singles “Bloody Valentine” and “My Ex’s Best Friend,” introducing him to a new generation of rock and alternative fans and helping to revive pop-punk in mainstream culture. He continued this trajectory with 2022’s Mainstream Sellout, which also topped the charts and earned a Grammy nomination, cementing his reputation as a multi-genre artist unafraid of reinvention.

Beyond music, MGK has acted in films such as NerveThe Dirt (where he portrayed Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee), and Big Time Adolescence, earning praise for his on-screen charisma. Known for his outspoken personality, high-profile relationships, and headline-grabbing performances, MGK remains one of the most polarizing yet influential figures in contemporary music. His evolution from underground rapper to mainstream rock star underscores his versatility, risk-taking approach, and enduring connection to fans across genres.
