The group’s wildly successful joint tour will continue in February
Next year, Mammoth WVH and Nita Strauss are running it back. Starting in February, the two acts will mount another leg of their wildly successful 2023 run together. In May, Mammoth WVH will continue with more dates featuring special guest Intervals. Check out the full tour itinerary below.
“2023 has been an amazing year and 2024 is shaping up to be even busier,” states Wolfgang Van Halen. “To be able to headline more shows with Nita Strauss and then having Intervals join us later is so exciting. I am honored that I get to return to that incredible Metallica stage as well as reunite with Dave Grohl and the guys in the Foo Fighters. I can’t wait to see everyone next year.”
All headline show tickets and VIP Packages go on sale to the general public this Friday, December 8 at 10am local time.
In addition to their own headlining dates, both Mammoth WVH and Nita Strauss will be appearing at the colossal Welcome to Rockville festival next May in Daytona Beach, Florida alongside Mötley Crüe, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and many more.
Mammoth’s sophomore album Mammoth II came out on on August 4 through BMG. The lead single “Another Celebration at the End of the World” gave the band a Top 10 at Active Rock radio. The new record follows their acclaimed GRAMMY®-nominated debut. Recorded at the legendary 5150 Studios, the forthcoming Mammoth IIwas produced by friend and frequent collaborator Michael Elvis Basket (Falling In Reverse, Alter Bridge, Limp Bizkit). On the day the album came out, Mammoth WVH began their run with Metallica on the highly anticipated North American leg of their M72 World Tour.
Over the summer, Wolfgang Van Halen and company toured again as special guests of Alter Bridge on the second U.S. leg of their Pawns & Kings Tour.
Nita Strauss released her new album The Call to The Void earlier this year through Sumerian Records. The lead single “Dead Inside” featuring Disturbed’s David Draiman arrived in 2021 and shot straight to No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. The instrumental “Summer Storm” followed, and then “The Wolf You Feed” featuring Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz. The official video for the track has amassed 8.5 million views on YouTube. Three more singles – “The Golden Trail” with In Flames’ Anders Fridén, “Victorious” with Dorothy Martin, and “Winner Takes All” with long time collaborator Alice Cooper have all garnered favorable attention from fans.
Before her current run with Mammoth, Nita embarked on a headlining tour in support of her new record.
“The response has been amazing,” Strauss told us on our Talk This Way Podcast. “It’s especially special for me because, you know, this technically was a pandemic album for me. You know, I wrote and recorded most of this during the quarantine period and it’s taken a long time to come out. We’ve got a lot of guests, a lot of sort of ‘red tape’ to get through with having this many people feature on a record. And, for me, the album was already feeling like it was gone, like it was over and done before it even came out. And being out on the road playing these songs live and hearing people’s reactions to hearing them for the first time, it’s reinvigorated my excitement and my fire for this upcoming record. It’s coming out in eight days from the day that we’re doing this interview, and I have this renewed fire and excitement of, ‘Yes, I cannot wait for the world to hear this record.’”
