I Prevail are coming along for the ride

Godsmack have announced a string of U.S. tour dates. The month-long trek kicks off on May 4 at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado and wraps up on May 28 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Special guests for the run will be I Prevail. Another special guest will be announced soon for select dates.

“We’re happy to announce that we are hitting the road in May with special guests I Prevail,” the band said in a statement. “See you out there!”

Artist pre-sale for most of the dates begins tomorrow, February 14 at 10am local until February 16 at 10pm local via Godsmack.com using the Password: THESKY. General public on sale starts this Friday, February 17 at 10am local time via Godsmack.com. Tickets for the show on May 13 at 94.5 The Buzz’s Buzzfest in Houston, Texas go on sale Friday, February 17 at Godsmack.com.

Godsmack recently confirmed their upcoming eighth studio album Lighting Up the Sky. The record arrives on February 24 via BMG. Fans can pre-order and pre-save Lighting Up the Sky now HERE. The album will be available on CD, standard black vinyl, and limited edition blue vinyl. Fans can also purchase the album digitally.

So far, Godsmack have premiered two singles from the album – “Surrender” and “You and I.”

Godsmack’s last album was When Legends Rise which was released in 2018 via their long-time label BMG. The record hit No. 1 across Billboard’s Top Rock, Top Hard Rock, and Top Alternative Albums charts. To date, they are one one of the best-selling hard rock acts of their generation.
