The band will perform in California and Texas this fall
Foo Fighters are continuing their string of headlining shows across North America. The band announced Tuesday two more shows Santa Barbara, California and Houston, Texas. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, September 14 10am local time. Check out the full show details and links for tickets below.
In addition to their new headlining shows, Foo Fighters are slated to appear at Sea Hear Now, Riot Fest, Louder Than Life, and more. The band’s 2023 headlining performances will take place across the U.S. though October. The Breeders, Garbage, The Pretty Reckless, Wet Leg, Taipei Houston, and Julie will serve as special guests on select dates.
Foo Fighters will be headlining The Ohana Festival at the end of September. The annual outing takes place in Dana Point, California on September 29 through October 1, with Foo Fighters closing it out on the final day. The Killers and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder are also headlining, along with performances from HAIM, Father John Misty, The War on Drugs, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and more.
Next year, Foo Fighters are returning to the UK for a full headlining run. The Everything or Nothing at All Tour begins next June at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester and wraps up at Villa Park in Birmingham. Special guests for the shows will be Loose Articles, Courtney Barnett, Honeyblood, Shame, Himalayas, Hot Milk, and GRAMMY® Award winners Wet Leg on select dates. Foo Fighters’ newest LP debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, and the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
Foo Fighters’ new album, But Here We Are, arrived on June 2. The album peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, and topped Billboard’s Rock and Alternative Albums charts. It marked the band’s first release without late drummer Taylor Hawkins since he joined the band for 1999’s There Is Nothing Left to Lose. Dave Grohl recorded all the drums on But Here We Are. The record marks the first release It is available now on black vinyl, white vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital download.
On May 21, Foo Fighters confirmed new drummer Josh Freese. On May 24, Foo Fighters made their return to the stage at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. Over Memorial Day Weekend, the band perform at Boston Calling and Sonic Temple. On May 30, they played an exclusive club show opening the all-new Atlantic in Washington, D.C.
In 2021, Foo Fighters released their last album Medicine at Midnight – their final outing with Hawkins. The record hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and took the top spot in several other countries. The album garnered the band three GRAMMY® Awards, including Best Rock Song (“Waiting on a War”), Best Rock Performance (“Making a Fire”), and Best Rock Album.
