The official lineup for Carolina Rebellion 2015 has been announced with Korn and Slipknot set to headline. Other featured acts include Marilyn Manson, Godsmack, Slayer, Rise Against, Cheap Trick, Sammy Hagar, Papa Roach, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Breaking Benjamin, Bush, Chevelle, Testament, and many more. The festival goes down on May 2 and May 3 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC. Pre-sale tickets are available now and regular on-sale begins January 16 via CarolinaRebellion.com.
In 1994, Korn released their self-titled debut album, revolutionizing metal and music as whole. The band has sold over 35 million records world-wide. The band has released ten studio albums, 8 of which have gone Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 (five of them hit the Top 5). Eight of their albums have gone multi-platinum. They have been nominated for 7 Grammy’s, winning two of them, and 11 MTV Video Music Awards, winning 2 of them. Korn hit their peak when they released back-to-back masterpieces: 1998′s Follow The Leader and 1999′s Issues. Both albums hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200. Their last album, The Path of Totality, hit #10 in Billboard in 2011. The band’s latest effort, The Paradigm Shift, debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 in 2013. Slipknot are in the midst of their Prepare For Hell World Tour. Their new album .5: The Gray Chapter recently debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. All of the band’s four prior studio albums have been certified platinum. Their single “The Negative One” has been nominated for a Grammy Award this year for Best Metal Performance. The band has been nominated for eight Grammys throughout their career, winning Best Metal Performance in 2006 for their hit track “Before I Forget”. Slipknot formed in 1995 and have been a steady, dominant force in the music world for 20 years. To date, the band has sold over 25 million albums worldwide.
