The band’s forthcoming self-title album arrives in January

Alter Bridge have released “What Lies Within,” the second sampling of their forthcoming eighth album. It follows the lead single “Silent Divide,” which arrived last month. Stream the official music video for “What Lies Within” below.
The band’s new self-titled record is slated to arrive on January 9, 2026. It will be available digitally, as well as on CD and several special edition vinyls. Check out the cover art and tracklisting below, as well as all physical editions to pre-order. To celebrate the record’s release, Alter Bridge are embarking on a huge European tour. The What Lies Within Tour kicks off on 15 January at Sporthalle in Hamburg, Germany. Very special guests will be Daughtry and Sevendust. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
In the spring, Alter Bridge will keep it rolling with a run across the U.S. The trek kicks off on April 25 at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida and wraps up on May 24 at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Event Center in Tampa, Florida. Very special guest for the What Lies Within Tour will be Filter, Sevendust, and Tim Montana on select dates. Tickets are on sale now. VIP Meet & Greets and guitar clinics with Mark Tremonti are on sale now.

Recently, the band has been hinting at the release of their first new music since their hit 2022 album, Pawns & Kings. In a social media post, the band simply said, “Faders are moving. Frequencies shifting. The storm is starting to take shape.” The caption was accompanied by the hashtag “Signals in the Static,” which could possibly be the title of an upcoming single. Their last effort – Pawns & Kings – hit No. 1 on the UK’s Rock & Metal Albums Chart, and notched Top 10 spots on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts.
Since the release of the album, Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and Brian Marshall have been busy with Creed’s massive reunion tour, while Tremonti and frontman Myles Kennedy both released solo albums. Mark’s sixth album, The End Will Show Us How, arrived back January 10. It peaked at No. 2 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. Kennedy’s The Art of Letting Go was released back in 2024. The record hit No. 2 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart, and No. 16 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums.

This past November, Creed wrapped up their massive reunion tour at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. The run has seen the band sell out venues around the country – including Madison Square Garden in New York City. The tour sold out, so they added a second leg. They even embarked on their own music cruise, adding a second one due to unbelievable demand. Now, the demand for the band is higher than ever, so they’re running it back in 2025.
In addition to there headlining tour dates, Creed have also plotted their second Summer of ‘99 and Beyond Festival — a high-energy rock festival celebrating the anthems of a generation. This year’s installment follows the success of last year’s sold-out inaugural event in San Bernardino, California proving that demand for live rock music is stronger than ever. This year, the festival is expanding to two days with Creed being joined by Nickelback as co-headliners.
The festival will take place at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI on Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19 – a location that is important in the history of both bands. This year is the 25th Anniversary since Creed first performed there in 2000 and Nickelback made their debut there in 2007 – making it the perfect place for the two juggernauts to come together. The Summer of ‘99 and Beyond Festival is the first time both bands will share the stage since 1999.
Back in April, Creed set sail on another Summer of ’99 Cruise. The jaunt saw a sold-out ship depart for the Bahamas on April 9 and return on April 13. The lineup featured Sevendust, Dorothy, Hoobastank, Lit, Hinder, Alien Ant Farm, Marcy Playground, and more. After that, Creed had a featured slot at Stagecoach in Indio, California. The country music festival has branched out to include some other genres. In addition to hard rockers Creed, this year’s installment included alternative sensation Lana Del Rey, pop icon Backstreet Boys, alternative rock chart-toppers Goo Goo Dolls, and rock icon Sammy Hagar, among others.
