Seether Announce Triple Threat Tour with Sick Puppies and Kyng

Seether have just announced that they will be headlining a fall 2012 U.S. run, The Triple Threat Tour, with special guests Sick Puppies and Kyng. They will receive support from Eye Empire and Young Guns on select dates. Seether are still trekking across the world on the Here & Now Tour with Nickelback, Bush, and My Darkest Days. Seether have shared a stage with Sick Puppies many times, including the 2011 48 Hours Festival in Las Vegas, NV.

Seether are still touring on their latest record, Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray, which debuted at #2 on Billboard Top 200 in May 2011. It hit #1 on the U.S. Billboard Alternative, Hard Rock, and Top Rock charts. The album has produced three #1 singles for the band. The recently-released third single, “No Resolution,” just hit #1 and is currently ruling the radio waves.

Sick Puppies released their all acoustic seven track EP, Polar Opposite, in March 2012. The EP includes acoustic versions of “Riptide”, “Don’t Walk Away”, and more from their third studio LP, Tri-Polar, which came out in 2009. It features string ensembles and lead vocals from bassist Emma Anzai. The band is currently in the studio working on their fourth album.

Kyng recently made their Rock On The Range debut, and rightfully so. Their debut album, Trampled Sun, made a huge buzz in the rock world. In March, Kyng were personally chosen by Metallica frontman James Hetfield to perform at Metallica’s own Orion Music + More Festival on June23-24 in Atlantic City, NJ. – by Matt Bishop
