The Destroy All Enemies Tour will steamroll across the United States later this year
On the heels of their Crush the World tour, Megadeth loading up once again for another bruising trek. Later this summer, the thrash metal titans are embarking on their Destroy All Enemies Tour. Along with very special guests Mudvayne and All That Remains, Megadeth will bulldoze their way across the United States starting on August 2 at Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas. The 33-date tour wraps up on September 28 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tickets for all dates will be on sale Friday, April 26 at 10am local time, with an exclusive pre-sale for the Cyber Army/Megadeth Digital beginning today, Tuesday, April 23 at 12pm local time.
As always, there’s a good chance that fans will hear a rare gem or two from Megadeth on this upcoming run. Earlier this month, Megadeth kicked off the South American leg of their Crush the World Tour in Lima, Peru. The thrash metal titans treated the capacity crowd at Arena 1 to 16-song set that included some of there biggest hits and some tunes from their latest album. Additionally, Dave Mustaine and company pulled out a just three songs in. Megadeth played a deep cut from their 1986 opus Peace Sells…but Who’s Buying? called “Devil’s Island.” It was the first time the song has seen the lights of a stage since 2014.
Megadeth’s latest album The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! came out in 2022 through Tradecraft/UMG. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 across Billboards Top Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative Albums charts. The record’s lead single “We’ll Be Back” was nominated for a GRAMMY® Award for Best Metal Performance. Finding commercial success is not a rare thing for Megadeth. Their previous effort, 2016’s Dystopia, landed at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart. The album’s title track garnered the band the GRAMMY® Award for Best Metal Performance in 2017.
Megadeth’s 1990 album, Rust in Peace, is often regarded as one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time, featuring intricate musical performances and classic tracks such as “Holy Wars… The Punishment Due” and “Hangar 18.” This album, along with 1992’s Countdown to Extinction, which includes hits like “Symphony of Destruction” and “Sweating Bullets,” helped the band achieve significant commercial success, with the latter reaching number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Megadeth continued to release successful albums despite numerous lineup changes and challenges, including Mustaine’s temporary disbandment of the group in 2002 due to a severe arm injury. However, he reformed the band in 2004 after recovering, and they released The System Has Failed, which marked a return to their thrash roots.
Mudvayne broke out with major label debut in 2000, L.D. 50, released under Epic Records. Produced by Garth Richardson and executive produced by Slipknot’s M. Shawn Crahan, the record is known for its innovative sound, blending intense metal with complex rhythms and time signatures. It also introduced their elaborate stage personas and make-up, contributing to their unique identity.
Mudvayne’s subsequent albums, including 2002’s The End of All Things to Come and 2005’s Lost and Found, continued to build on their success, with singles like “Not Falling” and “Happy?” achieving notable chart success and radio play. These albums further developed their style, mixing heavy, aggressive metal with more melodic and accessible elements. The band’s last studio effort was their 2009 self-titled LP. The album produced two singles – “Beautiful and Strange” and “Scream with Me.”
After a 12-year hiatus, Mudvayne are reunited back in 2021. The band will be performed at all four Danny Wimmer Presents U.S. festivals, including Louder Than Life in Kentucky, Aftershock in California and Welcome To Rockville in Florida, plus a headlining performance at Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival in Ohio. These dates mark the band’s first shows since 2009. Later that summer, the band toured with Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. Last summer, Mudvayne mounted a massive amphitheater tour with Coal Chamber, Butcher Babies, and Nonpoint.
Formed in 1998, All That Remains broke out came with the 2006 release of The Fall of Ideals, which included hit tracks such as “This Calling” and “Six,” songs that featured aggressive riffing balanced with melodic hooks. This album established them as a major force in the metalcore scene and featured more sophisticated songwriting and production, often credited to producer Adam Dutkiewicz from Killswitch Engage.
Following albums like Overcome (2008) and For We Are Many (2010) saw the band incorporating even more mainstream elements, including more prominent clean vocals and accessible melodies. These albums included successful singles like “Two Weeks” and “Hold On,” which helped them gain a broader audience.
All That Remains has been noted for their lyrical content, often focusing on personal strength, existential questions, and critiques of social and political issues. Their music has also been shaped by their technical proficiency, particularly the guitar work of Oli Herbert and his successor Jason Richardson.
Despite the tragic death of guitarist Oli Herbert in 2018, All That Remains continues to record and perform. Their later albums, such as Victim of the New Disease (2018), show a return to heavier and darker themes, reflecting both a nod to their earlier styles and the evolution of their sound.
