Last night, Alice In Chains took the stage at the Yaamava’ Resort and Casino in Highland, California. The show was part of the band’s current North American headlining tour. During their set, the band was joined by a very special guest – none other than Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde. Alice In Chains proceeded to play their Dirt classic “Would?” Check out the fan-filmed footage below.

Alice In Chains frontman William DuVall shared photos on social media, and confirmed that Wylde was playing one of DuVall’s coveted guitars from his personal collection.

“Why, yes. That is the great Zakk Wylde rockin’ out directly to my right in his trademark stance on “Would?” And, since you asked, yes, that is one of my Gibson 1960 VOS Les Pauls he’s playin All in all, not a bad day at the office.

In addition to their own headlining shows, Alice In Chains are serving as special guests for Guns N’ Roses on their current North American stadium tour. Alice In Chains’ last studio effort was 2018’s Rainier Fog. The album peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart.

Zakk Wylde is currently on tour with Pantera. The group is trekking across North American on their first proper headlining tour in over 20 years. The run started on July 28 at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh. Revisit our review and live photos HERE

Additionally, Wylde is keeping busy working on a new Black Label Society album. The group’s last album was 2021’s Doom Crew Inc. It featured the hit single “Set You Free,” the fast-paced rocker “Destroy & Conquer,” and the heavy groover “Forsaken.” It was the band’s eleventh studio effort. Back in May, Zakk offered fans an update from the studio.

“Greetings, Berzerkers,” the note began. “As you can see, Black Label Society is hard at work on the studio working on a new album and somehow there’s enough hours in the day for Zakk Wylde to break skulls with Pantera.”

In December, Wylde is hitting the road for an extensive 31-show tour with his Black Sabbath tribute trio, Zakk Sabbath. The tour kicks off on December 5, 2023 at Ace of Spades in Sacramento, California and wraps up on January 20, 2024 at The Belasco in Los Angeles, California. Very special guests for the trek will be The Native Howl.
