The band performed at the Wal-Mart AMP in Arkansas
Last night, Foo Fighters debuted their 10-minute epic “The Teacher” at the Wal-Mart AMP in Arkansas. The band typically ends their shows with their seminal hit “Everlong,” but changed things up last night to premiere the song in a live setting. The track is a tribute to frontman Dave Grohl’s late mother, Virginia, who passed away last August. To make the moment even more special, the band was joined by Dave’s daughter, Violet, to perform with them.

Foo Fighters’ new album, But Here We Are, arrived on June 2. Violet Grohl makes a special guest appearance on the record, lending her vocals to the song “Show Me How.” It is available now on black vinyl, white vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital download.
On May 21, Foo Fighters confirmed new drummer Josh Freese. On May 24, Foo Fighters made their return to the stage at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. Over Memorial Day Weekend, the band perform at Boston Calling and Sonic Temple. On May 30, they played an exclusive club show opening the all-new Atlantic in Washington, D.C.
The band will continue their festival run this summer with appearances at Bonnaroo, Sea Hear Now, Riot Fest, and more. The band’s 2023 headlining performances will take place across the U.S. though October. The Breeders, Garbage, The Pretty Reckless, Wet Leg, and Taipei Houston will serve as special guests on select dates. Tickets for all shows are on sale now HERE.
