The massive five-band trek kicks off in November
This fall, Trivium are closing out 2026 with a massive North American tour. The band will hit the road starting on November 5 in St. Petersburg, Florida, with the tour wrapping up on December 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina for a North American headline run with In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit for an Autopsy, and Frozen Soul in tow. It is a truly stacked lineup that cannot and should not be missed.

The tour marks the somewhat unofficial start of Trivium’s next era, with new music on the way soon. The band plans to debut new material on stage as well.

Last October, Trivium drummer Alex Bent left the band after sitting behind the kit for nearly a decade. He revealed the news through his official social media channels. Trivium also released a collective statement wishing Bent all the best, seemingly confirming that there are no hard feelings surrounding the departure.
“I am beyond grateful for the incredible past 9 years with Trivium — filled with unforgettable moments, music, and friendships that I’ll always carry with me,” Bent said in a statement. “I’m so proud of every record and tour we created together, and I know Trivium will continue to dominate the world; they’ll always have my support. While this chapter has come to a close, this is by no means the end of my path as a musician. I’m excited for this new chapter, and I look forward to continuing to create, perform, and share music in new ways. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Your encouragement means the world.”

Alex Bent joined Trivium back in 2016. After Nick Augusto’s four-year stint with the group (2010-2014), Trivium went though two drummers – Mat Madiro and Paul Wandtke before Bent joined the group. Alex played on Trivium’s last three albums – The Sin and The Sentence (2017), What the Dead Men Say (2020), and In the Court of the Dragon (2021). Bent exits as the band’s second-longest tenured drummer behind founding member Travis Smith, who played drums for the group from 1999 through 2010.

Trivium’s critically acclaimed tenth album, In The Court Of The Dragon, arrived in 2021. This year, the band celebrated 20th anniversary of their 2005 album Ascendancy. The album achieved a gold certification in the UK, and eclipsed sales of 500,000 worldwide. It ignited a string of six consecutive Top 25 debuts on the Billboard Top 200 and five straight Top 3 debuts on the Top Hard Rock Albums Chart, culminating on 2017’s benchmark The Sin And The Sentence. That album elevated the group’s total stream tally past a quarter-of-a-billion. Additionally, “Betrayer” received a GRAMMY® Award nomination in the category of Best Metal Performance.
