Metal titans Slipknot have announced a massive summer tour with very special guests Lamb of GodBullet For My Valentine, and Motionless In White. Summer’s Last Stand Tour kicks off on July 24 in West Palm Beach, FL at the Cruzan Amphitheater and wraps up on September 2 in Houston, TX at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Slipknot are in the midst of their Prepare For Hell World Tour, and have a small U.S. run planned for the spring with Hatebreed. Their new album .5: The Gray Chapter recently debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and the single “The Negative One” has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. Motionless In White released their latest effort Reincarnate back in September. The disc deputed at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on both the Billboard Rock and Metal charts. Lamb of God and Bullet For My Valentine are both working on new music. – by Matt Bishop
