Listen to ‘In Times New Roman’ on the original test pressing
Ahead of the release of their new album In Times New Roman, Queens of the Stone Age have announced a special listening experience. From June 4 through June 11, fans can register to listen to the new record in full on the original vinyl test pressing at dedicated spaces around the globe. The experience will be available in New York, Los Angeles, London, Mexico City, and São Paulo. Fans can book an appointment to experience the record HERE.
The band’s is from their forthcoming album In Times New Roman which arrives on June 16 via Matador. Earlier this week, Queens of the Stone Age revealed another new song called “Carnavoyeur.” It follows the previously revealed “Emotion Sickness.”
Over Memorial Day Weekend, Queens of the Stone Age debuted “Negative Spaces” at Boston Calling, another track from the new record.
In Times New Roman… was recorded and mixed at frontman Josh Homme’s own Pink Duck, with additional recording at Shangri-La. The album was produced by the band and mixed by Mark Rankin. It will be available across all digital platforms, as well as vinyl and CD. Artwork and double LP gatefold packaging was designed by long time collaborator Boneface. The LP vinyl will be available globally in standard black, as well as limited edition green, red, silver and blue. All formats are available for pre-order and pre-save now HERE.
After performing at Sonic Temple and Boston Calling last weekend, Queens of the Stone Age are slated to play several more festivals around the globe this summer including Pinkpop, Mad Cool, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, and more. This week, the band was added to the Glastonbury bill alongside Elton John, Guns N’ Roses, Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood, The Hives, and more.
