The North American leg of the Grammy winner’s Guts Tour will wrap up in August
Today, multi-platinum, three-time GRAMMY® award-winning artist Olivia Rodrigoannounced two additional Los Angeles shows to wrap up the second North American leg of her highly successful GUTS world tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will now include two nights at Intuit Dome on Tuesday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 21, bringing the total number of LA shows to a massive six dates. The Breeders will join Olivia on the newly announced dates.
Following the critically acclaimed first North American leg, Olivia’s tour is currently making its way through Europe and the UK, with the final European shows in Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon playing this week. The tour then returns to North America with shows in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Vancouver and more before culminating the second leg across the U.S. and Canada with a six-show run in Los Angeles. The GUTS world tour will wrap up with 16 dates across Asia and Australia, including multiple nights in Bangkok, Seoul, Melbourne, Sydney and more.
Tickets for the GUTS world tour Intuit Dome shows will be available starting with Amex Presale Tickets™ available exclusively for American Express® Members beginning Thursday, June 20. Any remaining tickets will be available during the general on-sale starting Friday, June 21 at 12PM PT.
Amex Presale Tickets™ will be available for Card Members to purchase before the general public beginning Thursday, June 20 at 12PM PT through Friday, June 21 at 9am PT (or while supplies last) – this is one of the many entertainment benefits American Express Card Members can access across the arts, theater, sports and music through Amex Experiences.
The GUTS world tour will also offer VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level.
Olivia Rodrigo has introduced Silver Star Tickets on the GUTS world tour, making a limited number of $20 USD plus taxes and fees (or the local currency equivalent) tickets available for all shows. Olivia has launched this program to make it as easy and affordable as possible for her fans to make it out to her shows. Silver Star Tickets must be purchased in pairs with a limit of 2 per purchaser. These seats will be located next to each other and the seat locations will be revealed the day of show when picked up at the venue box office. Ticket locations within the venue will include limited view seats, lower and upper level seating, as well as the floor.
Silver Star tickets for the Intuit Dome shows will be released at a later date.
In conjunction with the GUTS world tour, Olivia Rodrigo has launched Olivia Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good, a global initiative committed to building an equitable and just future for all women and girls through direct support of community based non-profits that champion girls’ education, support reproductive rights and prevent gender-based violence. A portion of Olivia’s proceeds from ticket sales will go to Olivia Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good.
The GUTS world tour supports her second studio album, GUTS, which was released September 8 via Geffen Records, landing her six GRAMMY-award nominations including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Following the resounding success of her inaugural 2022 tour, The SOUR Tour, the GUTS world tour is Olivia’s first arena tour to date, taking her to renowned venues worldwide such as Madison Square Garden, Kia Forum, Sportpaleis, The O2, and more.
After shattering records with her chart-topping, 4x Platinum debut album SOUR – the fastest album in history to have all of its songs certified RIAA Platinum or higher – Olivia Rodrigo made a monumental return with her sophomore album GUTS, revealing newly heightened sophistication as a vocalist and lyricist. Produced by and co-written with Daniel Nigro (her main creative partner on SOUR), each song intensifies the emotional honesty that’s always imbued her work, leading The New York Times to hail her as “a songwriter of rather astonishing purity.”
Praised by fans and critics alike, GUTS debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, coinciding with lead single “vampire” returning to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and Rodrigo’s No. 1 ranking on the Artist 100, thereby giving her a chart triple. Rodrigo is the first female artist in nearly a decade to debut her first two albums atop the Billboard 200 and the youngest artist in Hot 100 history to debut three hits at No. 1 (“vampire” and SOUR’s “drivers license” and “good 4 u”). GUTS’remaining 11 tracks charted in the top 40 of the Hot 100. GUTS topped the album charts in over 13 countries, including the UK.
The album, which appeared on more than 30 Best of 2023 lists, received GRAMMY® nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album while “vampire” received three nods and “ballad of a homeschooled girl” was nominated for Best Rock Song.
Before the year ended, Rodrigo achieved another career milestone with the release of her first contribution to a film soundtrack: “Can’t Catch Me Now” from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (Music From & Inspired By). The song won a 2023 Hollywood Music In Media Award for SciFi/Fantasy Film, a 2024 SCL Award for “Outstanding Original Song For A Dramatic Or Documentary Visual Media Production” and was shortlisted for the 2024 Oscars.
Shortly after the GUTS tour launched, Olivia released GUTS (spilled) – the deluxe edition of her sophomore album, which contains five additional songs, including “obsessed,” a highlight of her live show and a brand-new song “so american,” recorded following the release of GUTS.
