Releases on October 11, 1994, through Epic Records, Korn’s seminal debut album severely altered the heavy music landscape. Anchored by the hit single “Blind,” the record also features fan favorites like “Shoots and Ladders” and “Daddy.” Against some odds, the album work its way up to No. 72 on the Billboard 200.
“Reflecting on thirty years of Korn fills me with such immense gratitude for our journey, the growth we’ve experienced, and the incredible bond we share with our fans,” says frontman Jonathan Davis. “It’s humbling to see how our music has touched so many lives across the globe. From our small club beginnings to now headlining stadiums, it’s been an unforgettable ride, and we owe it all to our amazing, undying, loyal community that’s made it possible. I’m really looking forward to this incredible night to celebrate together.”
Korn’s last studio album was 2022’s Requiem. Produced by the band alongside Chris Collier, the record hit No. 1 in several countries around the globe. It peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart and the UK’s Rock & Metal Albums chart. Throughout their career, Korn have sold over 40 million records worldwide, while being one of the most original and influential acts in heavy music.
Nearly two years since its release, Gojira are still riding the wave of their latest effort Fortitude (Roadrunner). The album’s hit single “Amazonia” earned the band a GRAMMY® nod for Best Metal Performance. The record topped both Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. It peaked at No. 2 in their native France. Last summer, the band mounted the massive Mega Monsters Tour alongside Mastodon and Lorna Shore.
Spiritbox released their latest effort, The Fear of Fear EP, on November 3 via Rise Records/Pale Chord.
Vocalist Courtney LaPlante says of the first single, “The Void is a song that came about very quickly. I didn’t have to fight with anything to write it, and when that happens, I don’t argue with it. It’s a type of song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time, I’ve heard it hundreds of times now, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it. It’s been such an amazing experience playing this song on our tour, and watching people hear it for the first time, in real time.”
In 2021, Spiritbox released their widely successful debut album Eternal Blue. After a handful of dates supporting Limp Bizkit, the band embarked on their first North American headlining tour which saw them sell out several venues across the continent. To date, Spiritbox have accumulated over 400 million career streams across platforms and 76.4 million YouTube views. They were also nominated for 2 Juno Awards last year for Breakthrough Group Of The Year and Metal/Hard Music Album of The Year in 2022.
