After previously confirming the 25th anniversary vinyl reissue of their eponymous debut album, Godsmack are set to release another record on vinyl for the very first time. After exploding onto the scene in 1998 with their self-titled major label debut, Godsmack certified themselves as had rock heavyweights with the release of their double-platinum sophomore effort, Awake. Now, the album is getting the vinyl treatment for the first time ever.

The double-platinum Awake will now be available for the first time ever on 2-LP remastered vinyl on May 17. available for pre-order in a limited-edition green color with a special etched side. Additionally, the group is releasing an Awake album t-shirt and tank top to celebrate the release. Check out the album art below.

Following the multi-platinum self-titled debut in 1998, Godsmack returned two years later in 2000 with an album that exceeded expectations as it featured fan favorites like “Sick of Life,” “Greed,” “Mistakes,” and “Goin’ Down.” Building on the breakthrough success of their debut, the pummeling title track earned Godsmack their first Billboard No. 1 hit, and the instrumental “Vampires” earned the band their first GRAMMY® Award nomination.

Godsmack released their eighth studio album Lighting Up the Sky on February 24 via BMG. The record hit No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. It is be available on CD, standard black vinyl, and limited edition blue vinyl. Fans can also purchase the album digitally.

After their current acoustic tour, Godsmack are getting ready to plug back in for a string of summer shows. The band is set to hit the road on July 19 for a brief run with very special guests Nothing More and Flat Black, featuring former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook.

Godsmack launched The Vibes Tour on February 15 at Hard Rock Live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The run wraps up on May 5 in at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Very special guest for all shows is Danish singer-songwriter Bastian da Cruz.

In addition to their acoustic tour dates, Godsmack will be performing a full electric set when the headline Arizona Bike Week on April 6, 2024 in Scottsdale.

In 2004, Godsmack released an acoustic EP, The Other Side (Universal/Republic). It was produced by Dave Bottrill (Tool, Muse, Stone Sour), who previously worked with the band on their 2003 hit record, Faceless. The album featured acoustic renditions of previously released songs, as well as three new tracks – “Running Blind,” “Touché,” and “Voices.” The gold-certified EP peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, with “Running Blind” and “Touché” each scoring the band a Top 10 Mainstream Rock hit. Former Godsmack guitarist Lee Richards performs on “Touché.”

Godsmack are currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal self-titled debut album. their seminal debut album the vinyl treatment for its 25th anniversary. The band is reissuing the multi-platinum record on a special limited edition 2-LP orange vinyl, which comes with an exclusive 12″x12″ lithograph. Additionally, a standard black vinyl version is available. The band has also curated a special merchandise line surrounding the album, which includes a t-shirt, hoodie, tote bag, and exclusive foil poster.

Godsmack’s last album was When Legends Rise which was released in 2018 via their long-time label BMG. The record hit No. 1 across Billboard’s Top Rock, Top Hard Rock, and Top Alternative Albums charts. To date, they are one one of the best-selling hard rock acts of their generation.
