FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH AND VOLBEAT ANNOUNCE 2014 FALL ARENA TOUR WITH HELLYEAH AND NOTHING MORE

mattchristinephotography-13Modern metal heavyweights Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat are teaming up for an arena tour this fall. Both bands will be playing their biggest venues to date. Joining them will be very special guests Hellyeah and Nothing More. The massive arena trek kicks off on September 16 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT and wraps up on October 24 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Five Finger Death Punch are currently on the festival circuit in the U.S. with a stop at Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH on May 18. The band is touring in support of their latest effort, the monster double-LP The Wrong Side of Heaven and The Righteous Side of Hell – Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Both discs debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 back in July 2013 and November 2013 respectively. The band recently toured on Australia’s Soundwave Festival, followed by a sold-out European tour. Two weeks ago, Five Finger Death Punch won Song of The Year and bassist Chris Kael won the Paul Gray Best Bassist Award at the Revolver Golden Gods in Los Angeles.

This is Volbeat’s fourth North American tour trek in support of their latest effort, Outlaw IMG_2687Gentlemen & Shady Ladies, which came out back in April 2013. The record has taken the band to whole new level, giving them their first Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200 at #9. Volbeat were nominated for a Grammy Award this year for Best Metal Performance for the song “Room 24 (feat. King Diamond)”. Volbeat have always received widespread acclaim in Europe. The band’s debut album, The Strength/The Sounds/The Songs, won the award for Best Debut Album at the 2005 Danish Metal Music Awards.

The record also broke the band into the mainstream in the U.S. with the hit single, A Warrior’s Callwhich garnered massive play on rock radio nation-wide. Over the past few years, Volbeat have been touring relentlessly, playing some of the world’s biggest festival stages including Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, Download Festival, Hellfest, Wacken Open Air, and Metallica’s Orion Music + More Festival. In February 2013, it was announced that Rob Caggiano, who had been producing the band’s latest album and playing guest solos, had officially joined the band.

Hellyeah are set to unleash their new album Blood For Blood on June 10. Their last effort, 2012’s Band of Brothers, produced three hit singles and received much praise from fans.
