Eagles bandClassic rock icons the Eagles are set to play the inaugural concert at The PPL Center, the brand-new arena in Allentown, PA. Tickets go on sale to the public on March 28 at 10am EST via PPLCenter.com or by phone at 1-800-298-4200. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets on March 21 at 10am EST. Officials did not mention ticket prices.The 10,000+ venue will host the rock legends September 12, 2014. The arena is anticipated to attract some of the top musical touring acts of today and the legends of yesterday regularly from here on out. The Eagles are set to kick off their 2014 History of the Eagles World Tour in the U.K. in May. The band will also make several stops in Ireland before returning home for a U.S. run. That trek kicks off on August 25 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA and wraps up on October 4 at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, CA. The Eagles formed in 1971 and have enjoyed an illustrious 43-year career. In that time, the band has released six #1 albums and sold over 150 million records worldwide. They have garnered six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards.
