The group previously called it quits after their tour last summer
After previously calling it quits after their farewell tour last summer, Dead & Company are coming back for a monumental concert event. The group confirmed Thursday plans for an 18-show residency at the ground-breaking venue Sphere in Las Vegas. The shows will run from May 16 through June 22.
Fans can register for pre-sale tickets now. The general on-sale will begin Friday, February 9 at 10am PT.
Dead & Company are the latest act to take up residency at the all-new breathtaking venue Sphere. Rock icons U2 were first, and are currently in the midst of there second round of shows. This spring, Phish have four nights scheduled at Sphere starting on April 18.
“From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas,” said Phish frontman Trey Anastasio. “We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans.”
Sphere is powered by next-generation technologies, including a 160,000 square-foot LED display inside the main venue bowl that wraps up, over, and around the audience, creating a fully immersive visual environment. At 16K x 16K, it is the highest-resolution LED screen on earth. The venue also features Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT, the world’s most advanced concert-grade audio system, which delivers audio with unmatched clarity and precision to every guest.
Dead & Company’s final concert tour wrapped up last September with back-t0-back performances at Oracle Park in San Francisco.
