Another major rock concert in New Jersey has been canceled by the massive nor’easter ripping through the region. Black Veil Brides were set to take the stage tonight at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey, but the show is no longer happening. New Jersey is still in a state of emergency, as rain and flooding are still causing issues in the area.
It was supposed to be the final stop of the band’s current North American tour.
In a statement, the band said, “In light of the current state of emergency in New Jersey, and out of an abundance of caution regarding ongoing weather concerns, we regret to announce that our show in Montclair on September 27 will be canceled. We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who was planning to attend the show and thank you for your continued support. Refunds will be available at your point of purchase. Please stay safe!”
This isn’t the first major rock show to be affected by the weather this weekend. On Friday (September 25), AC/DC pulled the plug on their Power Up Tour stop at MetLife Stadium in nearby East Rutherford, New Jersey. Earlier that day, the All Time Low concert set to take place on the beach at the Stone Pony Summer Stage was moved to The Wellmont Theater in Montclair.
