Monsters of rock Black Veil Brides have announced a 2013 European Tour this winter with special guests Heaven’s Basement. The trek kicks off on November 22 in Koln, Germany and wraps up just before Christmas on December 20 in Nottingham, UK. The bands will welcome special guests The Smoking Hearts to support all of the UK dates from December 14-December 20. Black Veil Brides are still touring in support of their latest album, Wretched and Divine: The Story of The Wild Ones, which debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200. The single, “In The End”, earned the band the Revolver Golden God Award for Song of The Year at this year’s award show. Heaven’s Basement’s debut LP, Filthy Empire, debuted at #9 on the UK Rock Albums Chart and produced three hit singles for the band. In September 2012, The Smoking Hearts released their debut album, Victory!, via Bullet Tooth Records.
Black Veil Brides arrived on the scene in 2009 with their independent debut LP, We Stitch These Wounds, which debuted at #36 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. In 2011, the band supported the Murderdolls on their God Save The Scream Tour in the UK. In April 2011, Black Veil Brides won the Revolver Golden God Award for Best New Artist, and the Kerrang! Magazine Award for Best Newcomers. In June 2011, the band released their sophomore effort, Set The World On Fire, on June 14. Ten days later, the band embarked on a string of dates on the Vans Warped Tour. Later that year, the band hit the road with Avenged Sevenfold and Asking Alexandria on the Buried Alive Tour. Throughout the year, Black Veil Brides played epic festivals like Download Festival, Bamboozle, and Rock am Ring.
To hold fans over until the next LP, BVB released the Rebels EP in December 2011, which featured a cover of Billy Idol’s classic, “Rebel Yell”. That same year, BVB guitar duo of Jake Pitts and Jinxx won the Revolver Golden God Award for Best Guitarists. In 2012, Black Veil Brides released their much-anticipated new album, Wretched and Divine: The Story of The Wild Ones. The album debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200, marking their biggest commercial success yet. The album was accompanied by a film, entitled Legion of The Black, which tells the story of the album’s concept; the tale of a group of rebels known as The Wild Ones. At the 2013 Revolver Golden God Awards, Black Veil Brides became the first band ever in Revolver Awards history to win a Golden God three years in a row, winning this year’s award for Song of The Year for the track “In The End”. Over the last few months, the band as toured North America, Europe, Australia, South America, and many more countries on their Church of The Wilds Ones World Tour. The band headlined the Vans Warped Tour this summer, and recently wrapped up the Monster Energy Drink Outbreak Tour with Bullet For My Valentine, Stars In Stereo, and Throw The Fight.
Heaven’s Basement are in the forefront of the next generation of pure hard rock. Since their formation in 2008, they have toured all over Europe with the likes of Bon Jovi, Papa Roach, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Theory of A Deadman, Tesla, Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry, and more. Their festival resume is an impressive one, with appearances at Bloodstock Open Air, Sonisphere, Download Festival, Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, and more. In 2008, the band released their debut self-titled EP. After lots of hard touring, the band returned to the studio and released the Unbreakable EP in 2011. That same year in addition to their touring, the band played the main stage at High Voltage Festival in London alongside Judas Priest, Slash, and Dream Theater.
In 2012, the band finally hit the states, opening for fellow UK hard rockers The Darkness at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. They went on to support Seether on a full US/UK tour, and in February 2013, they released their debut full-length LP, Filthy Empire, to rave reviews. The album debuted at #9 on the UK Rock Albums Chart. The band released three singles from the album – “Fire, Fire”, “Nothing Left To Lose”, and “I Am Electric” – the first of which peaked at #12 on U.S. Active Rock Radio. Throughout 2013, the band supported the album by touring the U.S. with Buckcherry and Europe with Halestorm in addition to their own headlining dates and numerous festival appearances. Heaven’s Basement are currently supporting The Pretty Reckless on their North American Going To Hell Tour, which wraps up on November 11 in Boston, MA.
