Album Review: Eve To Adam ‘Odyssey’

(TRR) There was definitely a lot of excitement brewing upon learning that New York hard rockers Eve To Adam were gearing up to release their brand new album “Odyssey” and they certainly delivered.

What we adore so much about Eve to Adam is that they are a band that actually has something to say, as so much of current top 40 is completely and utterly mindless. We enjoy an album that makes us think and “Odyssey” does just that! You could never pigeon-hole Eve To Adam’s album catalog into one particular style and that is very much the same with “Odyssey” as well. The band is proving that rock n’ roll is very much alive and well and we are thrilled to find an album that makes it feel fresh once again!

The band flawlessly blends together elements of hard rock, synth, and some ol’ fashioned soul to create a sound that is very unique and very much their own. “Odyssey” is made up of a variety to tracks that range from high energy rockers such “The Price” “Landfill” and “Undertow” to slower tempo gems such as “Chasing Ghosts” and “Emergency”. It is not very often these days that you are able to pop in an album and listen to the entire package from start to finish, but with “Odyssey” there is seriously not a bad track in the bunch. The album has a perfect ebb and flow firing hard right out of the gate and leaves us trying to catch our breath by the end.

We absolutely can’t wait to see how many of these track come across in the live environment as well! As Eve To Adam founder and frontman, Taki Sassaris says, “Rock and Roll is far from dead, and in fact it is making a huge comeback. I have dedicated my life to the fact that there is no greater, dynamic live art form than a Rock band firing on all cylinders, leaving a piece of their soul on the stage and taking the crowd with them on a roller coaster ride through the emotional spectrum of the human experience! We live to push these boundaries every night. That’s what this is all about!”

Eve To Adam’s “Odyssey” is definitely one to add to your playlist and totally worth checking out! It doesn’t disappoint! “Odyssey” is available now via Rocktagon Worldwide Music!
