ACCIDENT AT SXSW LEAVES MULTIPLE INJURED AND TWO DECEASED

In the early morning hours today at South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) in Austin, TX, a suspected drunk driver lost control of their vehicle and drove recklessly though a crowd of people. The driver was attempting to evade police at the time, who were chasing the driver. The accident occurred on outside The Mohawk Club on Red River Street, where people were lined up for one of the festivals many club shows showcasing some of the top up-and-coming music artists in the country. Upon hearing the news, The Mohawk canceled the rest of the shows scheduled there that night. The accident left 23 people injured, five of which are in critical condition. Two people sadly lost their lives. The Rock Revival extends it’s deepest sympathies to the two victims and their families, and wishes a speedy recovery to all those injured. – by Matt Bishop
