The groups round out their nationwide Sessanta Tour

A Perfect Circle Primus Puscifer Tour 2024

After previously announcing a string of West Coast and Southeastern tour dates, A Perfect Circle, Primus, and Puscifer have added eight Northeastern shows to their Sessanta Tour next spring. The final round of dates includes stops in Boston, Massachusetts, Atlantic City, New Jersey, Queens, New York, and more. In addition to the Northeast dates, the tour will also be stopping in Chicago, Detroit, and Kansas City.

All three storied acts will be performing together, on stage at the same time, during the exclusive run of shows. The event will also see each group perform their own distinctive sets, but the players will continually transform as the night unfolds.

“Although I am slowly going deaf with all the rock song touring, and the aging and what not, the thunderous cacophony of whining and crying from the places we aren’t playing Sessanta was heard loud and clear,” A Perfect Circle’s Maynard James Keenan states. “But instead of being a grumpy old fart and calling you all a Waahhhmnulance, we decided to book a few more shows.”

The shows are in celebration of A Perfect Circle and Puscifer singer Maynard James Keenan’s 60th birthday. Artists Zoltron and Zombie Yeti designed the poster art for the tour. Prints will most likely be available at the merchandise booths. Check out the design below.

Notably, the tour will mark A Perfect Circle’s first live performances since 2018.

“It took some massaging, and some long days in rehearsal, but we managed to seamlessly pull off this three-song rotation at Cinquanta, my 50th birthday shows, at The Greek Theatre in 2014,” says Keenan of the seven-date run. “Bands aren’t used to simultaneously sharing the stage with other bands, but if anyone can do it, it’s Primus, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer.”

A Perfect Circle released their acclaimed fourth album Eat the Elephant in 2018. It marked the band’s first release since 2004’s eMOTIVe. Featuring the hit lead single, “The Doomed,” the record peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and topped Billboard’s Rock and Alternative charts. The subsequent tour marked their final live performances to date.

Puscifer’s Existential Reckoning was released in October of 2020 via Alchemy Recordings/BMG. Critically acclaimed, the record peaked at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums chart. They are promoting the album heavily on this run, and the crowd’s reaction has been more than favorable. Due to overwhelming demand, the group added several global stops to the tour. Back in March, Puscifer released Existential Reckoning: Re-Wired, a re-imagining of their latest hit album. The cover art was done by Daniel Martin Diaz, and the record features special appearances by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (Nine Inch Nails), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age), Phantogram, and more.

Last summer, Primus wrapped up their extensive Rush tribute tour, A Tribute to Kings. The run saw Primus performing Rush’s seminal 1977 album A Farewell to Kings in its entirety. Primus’s last studio effort was 2017’s The Desaturating Seven. The album hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart, and No. 2 on Top Alternative Albums.

Tickets for the newly announced shows go on sale this Friday, November 3 at 10am local time, with venue pre-sales available on Thursday, November 2 from 10am to 10pm local time. VIP options for the trek are available HERE.
