Last night in Philadelphia, rock juggernauts Sleep Token played a sold-out show at Xfinity Mobile Arena (formerly Wells Fargo Center). Fresh off a headlining performance at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky, the group is currently trekking across the United States on their massive Even In Acadia Tour. During the show, Vessel took a moment to shake things up with a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 hit, “Dancing In the Dark.” Performing the track on piano, Vessel slowed the upbeat dance rocker down for hauntingly beautiful rendition.

Check out the video footage of the performance below.

Back in May, Sleep Token scored their first career No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Even In Arcadia. The album sold approximately 127,000 units in its first week, the most for any hard rock album in nearly two years. Additionally, Even In Arcadia has recorded the largest streaming week ever for a hard rock album, according to Luminate.

Sleep Token’s last album Take Me Back to Eden was released in 2023. It peaked at No. 3 on the UK Albums chart and No. 2 on the UK’s Rock & Metal Albums chart. Stateside, it hit No. 16 on the Billboard 200, No. 4 on Top Rock Albums, and No. 2 on the Top Hard Rock and Alternative Albums charts.

Sleep Token kicked off their sold-out tour of the United States on September 16 in Georgia.
