The singer was furious after his daughter was reportedly removed from the side of the stage by security

Last night, the Seether show in Tulsa, Oklahoma took a wild turn. The show took place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. With the gig being in a casino, there are certain rules about patrons being at least 21 years of age that other venues might not have issues with. Apparently, that was the case last night.

At some point during the set, Seether frontman Shaun Morgan’s 7-year old daughter was reportedly removed from the side of the stage by security because she was under the age of 21. There is some discrepancy, however, because she was obviously not on the casino floor, or at a bar – she was literally on the stage as a credentialed guest of the band. Morgan did not take kindly to her removal, as most dads wouldn’t, and decided to turn one of the band’s signature songs into a massive rant directed at the venue security staff.

Morgan ranted, “Hey, sorry that took a little while,” he said to the crowd. “I had my fucking kid on the side of the stage the whole, entire show. And then suddenly, this fucking asshole kicks her the fuck off the stage, she’s seven-years old. And, now she can’t even go to in the front of fucking house and watch the show? . Man, fuck you. What the fuck is wrong with you? It’s a fucking child, and you just kicked her off the fucking stage her dad’s playing. I hope your dick is super fucking huge, bro. Oh well, I’ll finish this song for you guys – fuck this place!”

Then, they launched back into their 2005 smash “Remedy” with some very colorful new lyrics.

The new version of “Remedy” started out like this:

Blah, blah-blady-blah, some fucking rules that kick the kids out
Doing no fucking harm, just watching Daddy play a rock show
I’m a little man, with a tiny dick, and I have control

A few days ago, Seether celebrated the 20th anniversary of their hit third studio album, Karma and Effect. Released on May 24, 2005, the disc debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and produced one of the band’s biggest hits – the chart-topping single, “Remedy.” Last fall, the band released their latest album, The Surface Seems So Far through Fantasy Records. Anchored by the single “The Judas Mind,” the album peaked at No. 6 on the UK’s Rock & Metal Albums Chart.

Since forming in Pretoria, South Africa in 1999, Seether (Shaun Morgan, Dale Stewart, John Humphrey and Corey Lowery) has amassed a global fanbase that has grown organically with purpose and commitment, offering their fans around the world camaraderie, comfort and a sense of personal power. Their impressive sales and chart history includes three platinum and two gold albums, 22 No. 1 singles, 21 Top 5 multi-format hits, single sales topping 17 million and over 2 billion streams worldwide across all platforms.

Seether is Billboard’s No. 8 All-Time Mainstream Rock Artist, which covers the 40-year history of the chart’s existence. Their latest LP, the acclaimed, Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum (If You Want Peace, Prepare For War), was released last summer via Fantasy Records. A primal mix of euphoria and misery, the new album ranks among the strongest material of Seether’s illustrious career and includes the recent No. 1 singles “Dangerous,” “Bruised and Bloodied,” and “Wasteland.”
