(TRR) – Tool have announced a string of 2019 U.S. tour dates. The summer trek includes headlining shows and festival appearances. The run begins with an appearance at Welcome To Rockville in Jacksonville, FL on May 5. In addition to select headlining performances, Tool will also be hitting Epicenter Festival in Concord, NC on May 11 and Chicago Open Air in Bridgeview, IL on May 19. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 15 at 10am local time HERE.
In June, Tool will head overseas for a European run that includes shows at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany and the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic. The band will also be appearing at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Copenhell Festival, Download Festival Spain, and others.
The band have not released a full-length studio album since 2006’s 10,000 Days. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and included hit singles “Vicarious,” “The Pot,” and “Jambi.” According to the band, a brand new LP could finally be released in late May or early June, right in the middle of their U.S. run.
