The rock icons are returning to North America for more stadium shows.
(TRR) – The Rolling Stones are returning to North America next year. The band have announced another run of stadium shows in the U.S. and Cananda as part of their massive No Filter Tour. The trek kicks off on May 8 at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego and wraps up on July 9 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA.
“We had the best time on the road last summer,” guitarist Keith Richards said, “and we are ready to do it again!”
“It’s always a pleasure to return to North America,” frontman Mick Jagger said in a statement, “and play for some of biggest and best crowds in the world!”
Last year, the band’s North American run was postponed as Mick Jagger underwent heart surgery. After a speedy recovery, the Stones rescheduled the run. They performed 17 shows and grossed $177.8 million.
