The band is set to perform a string of shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace
This summer, The Killers are returning to their native Las Vegas for a very special residency. The legendary band – Brandon Flowers (vocals), Dave Keuning (guitar), Mark Stoermer (bass) and Ronnie Vannucci Jr (drums) – will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Hot Fuss, by performing the record front to back for the first time ever. The residency will run between August 14 through August 30 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Tickets are on sale starting January 27. Special collectors programs will also be available for purchase.

Released in 2004, Hot Fuss still stands as one of the greatest debut albums of all time. The album is anchored by its two singles – “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me” – which have not only become staples in The Killers’ catalog, but some of the biggest anthems of a generation. Other tracks like “Jenny Was a Friend of Mine,” “Smile Like You Mean It,” “All These Things That I’ve Done,” and “Believe Me Natalie” have become fan favorites over the years.
The album peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, and shot to No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. Since then, the album has been certified multi-platinum by the RIAA. The lead single “Mr. Brightside” scored a Top 10 hit on the Hot 100, Alternative Airplay, and Mainstream Top 40 charts. It garnered the group an MTV Video Music Award in 2005, and a GRAMMY® Award nomination. Its partner, “Somebody Told Me,” nabbed the band two GRAMMY® nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
This spring, The Killers are set to perform at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival alongside The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Heart, Bonnie Raitt, The Killers, Greta Van Fleet, Hozier, Vampire Weekend, The Revivalists, Joe Bonamassa, The Wallflowers, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, The Allman Betts Band, Samantha Fish, and many more.
On December 25, The Killers gave fans a special holiday surprise with the release of a brand new song, “We Did It In the Name of Love” – a guitar-driven track, with hints of goth and new wave.
“Santa’s got a brand new song in his bag,” the band said on social media. “Merry Christmas!”
Last month, The Killers released their new greatest hits compilation, Rebel Diamonds, which featured another new song called “Spirit.” The specially curated collection dives deep into the band’s impressive catalog of songwriting and musicianship – one that has solidified the band as one of the most important voices in rock ‘n’ roll over the last two decades. The album of highlights features 20 tracks, including the recently certified Diamond “Mr. Brightside,” along with other modern day classics “When You Were Young,” “All These Things That I’ve Done,” “Human,” “Read My Mind” and more.
The all-new tracks “We Did It In the Name of Love” and “Spirit” follow the previously released single, “Your Side of Town,“ which came out last August through their label, Island Records. Written by frontman Brandon Flowers, and the track was produced by The Killers, alongside Stuart Price and Shawn Everett. It was the follow-up to “boy,” which arrived in 2022. The song was written before Pressure Machine and, Flowers confirms, the themes explored in the lyrics actually led him on the path to writing and recording that album.
“This was the first song written after we had to cancel the Imploding The Mirage Tour due to the pandemic,” Flowers elaborates. “I had recently moved back to Utah and started to make trips to Nephi, where I grew up. I found that the place I had wanted to get away from so desperately at 16 was now a place that I couldn’t stop returning to. I have a son approaching the age I was at that time in my life. With “boy,” I want to reach out and tell myself – and my sons – to not overthink it. And to look for the “white arrows” in their lives. For me now, white arrows are my wife, children, my songs and the stage.”
Last year, The Killers headlined the Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK, Sea Hear Now in New Jersey, Bourbon & Beyond in Kentucky, Ohana Festival in California, Life Is Beautiful in their hometown of Las Vegas, and a special performance at the Formula1 Austin Grand Prix.
The Killers released their sixth studio album Imploding The Mirage back in August of 2020. Despite having to cancel the supporting tour, the album performed well. It peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart. With live music at a standstill, the band uncharacteristically wasted no time getting to work on the follow-up. The result was Pressure Machine, which arrived almost exactly a year later to the day on August 13, 2021, and once again gave the group the top spot on the Rock Albums chart.
The band’s massive Imploding the Mirage Tour wrapped up last October.
