The Gaslight Anthem released their sixth studio album, History Books, last October via Rich Mahogany Recordings. The record was produced by GRAMMY® Award-winner Peter Katis (The National, Kurt Vile) at his Tarquin Studios in Bridgeport, Connecticut. It is available on 180g gatefold black vinyl, exclusive “10 Bands/One Cause” pink vinyl, CD, and digital download. The group also put together several bundles that include a hat, t-shirt, and work jacket.
The album’s title track features fellow New Jersey legend, Bruce Springsteen.
“When Bruce Springsteen said I should write a duet for us, I think my head exploded,” Fallon said. “It will never get old to me that one of the greatest songwriters in the world, and one of my hero’s voices, will forever be captured in a song I wrote at a small wooden desk, in October, in New Jersey.”
AJR, born and raised New Yorkers who recently released their fifth studio album, The Maybe Man, are set to headline NYC’s iconic Madison Square Garden on the The Maybe Man Tour this summer.
