Sabaton embarked on their headlining run The Great Tour until mid-March 2020 when the pandemic changed everything, but have since been putting that down time to good use, writing, recording, and releasing a variety of stand-alone singles and music videos. Sabaton played its first post-pandemic date on July 9, performing in front of 40,000 fans when they headlined the Exit Festival in Serbia.

Sabaton has released nine studio albums, amassed six gold, one platinum, and one four-times platinum LPs. They’ve seen eight of their albums score Top 10 international chart status, and six claim the Top 5. The band has earned eight Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards nominations, taking home the award for “Breakthrough Artist” in 2011 and “Best Live Band” in three different years, and a Grammis nomination (Swedish equivalent to the U.S. GRAMMY) as Best Heavy Metal band. Sabaton has also accumulated more than two billion streams across all streaming platforms, and 1.5 billion YouTube views.

Sabaton have announced their tenth studio album The War to End All Wars which is due out in the near future.

Sabaton will serve as special guests for Judas Priest on their highly-anticipated 50 Heavy Metal Years North American Tour which kicks off on September 8 at the Santander Arena in Reading, PA.
