Obituary have announced a string of spring tour dates. The East Coast Redneck Run kicks off on March 18 at 1904 in Jacksonville, FL and wraps up on April 10 at Zydeco in Birmingham, AL. Gruesome and 200 Stab Wounds will serve as special guests for the run.

Tickets are available via Obituary.cc.

Obituary are currently in the midst of the Decibel Magazine Tour with co-headliners Municipal Waste. The tour concludes on February 24 in Richmond, VA. Also on the bill are Gatecreeper, Enforced, and Spirit World.

Obituary’s last studio outing was their 2017 self-titled LP.

“We’re always thinking about new songs and writing riffs and this and that,” drummer Donald Tardy said in a 2018 interview with Mosh Mag. “But, at this time of our lives and this time of the music industry, this new album has only been out for just over a year now, so we’re in no hurry to try and push another album out of us as quick as we can; there’s no sense.”

The band is currently working on material for a new studio album that is tentatively slated for release later this year.
