(TRR) While their appears to be no love lost between legendary vocalist/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and classic rock icons Fleetwood Mac, Buckingham said that he would in fact return to the group. The statement wasn’t made without a few snide comments about his former bandmates, however. In a recent interview with Stereogum in New York, Buckingham said, “Look, it’s Fleetwood Mac, anything’s possible. Maybe they’ll get it out of their system. If they ask me to come back, would I? Sure.”
“Look, I mean it does make me question who these people are,” Buckingham continued. “But again, to look at it compassionately, I think it’s all coming from a lack of perspective and to some degree a certain weakness on their parts. I can’t stop loving them because of that.”
Lindsey Buckingham wrapped up his solo tour last night at the Sands Event Center in Bethlehem, PA. The trek was in support of his new greatest hits collection Solo Anthology – The Best of Lindsey Buckingham. Buckingham recently settled a lawsuit between himself and Fleetwood Mac over allegedly being fired from the band earlier this year.
