Last November, Jack White was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of his band, The White Stripes. During his acceptance speech, the Detroit native paid homage to the city that shaped his sound. Later that same month, the legendary guitarist headlined the Thanksgiving Halftime Show during the matchup between his Detroit Lions and the rival Green Bay Packers.

Forever doing it for the fans, White felt that a performance of his magnitude needed something a little extra. During his set, he decided to bring out fellow Detroit native Eminem for a rare appearance. The capacity crowd at Ford Field exploded when the rap icon took the stage. The duo launched into Eminem’s 8x-platinum hit “‘Till I Collapse.” Then, Jack White finished things off with The White Stripes’ seminal song “Seven Nation Army.”

A blue indie vinyl edition was also made available in Third Man Records retail stores and in select independent record stores across the world.

True to his DIY roots, No Name was recorded, produced, and mixed by White at his Third Man Studio throughout 2023 and 2024, pressed to vinyl at Third Man Pressing, and released by Third Man Records. With the surprise unveiling of No Name, fans proved that the rumblings of something mysterious can grow into the beautiful experience of a community sharing the excitement and energy of music and art.
