British hard rockers Heaven’s Basement have announced The Welcome Home Tour, their 2014 headlining trek across Europe. The tour kicks off on March 13, 2014 at the Waterfront in Norwich, England and ends on April 25 at Sala Azkena in Bilbao, Spain. The band will be supported by special guests Glamour of The Kill and The Dirty Youth. Glamour of The Kill are touring in support of their sophomore effort, Savages, which came out back in September. The Dirty Youth are still riding the wave of their debut album, Red Light Fix, which was released back in late 2011.
Heaven’s Basement are in the forefront of the next generation of pure hard rock.
Since their formation in 2008, they have toured all over Europe with the likes of Bon Jovi, Papa Roach, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Theory of A Deadman, Tesla, Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry, and more. Their festival resume is an impressive one, with appearances at Bloodstock Open Air, Sonisphere, Download Festival, Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, and more. In 2008, the band released their debut self-titled EP. After lots of hard touring, the band returned to the studio and released the Unbreakable EP in 2011. That same year in addition to their touring, the band played the main stage at High Voltage Festival in London alongside Judas Priest, Slash, and Dream Theater.
In 2012, the band finally hit the states, opening for fellow UK hard rockers The Darkness at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA. They went on to support Seether on a full US/UK tour, and in February 2013, they released their debut full-length LP, Filthy Empire, to rave reviews. The album debuted at #9 on the UK Rock Albums Chart. The band released three singles from the album – “Fire, Fire”, “Nothing Left To Lose”, and “I Am Electric” – the first of which peaked at #12 on U.S. Active Rock Radio. Throughout 2013, the band supported the album by touring the U.S. with Buckcherry and Europe with Halestorm in addition to their own headlining dates and numerous festival appearances. Heaven’s Basement are currently supporting The Pretty Reckless on their North American Going To Hell Tour, which wraps up on November 11 in Boston, MA. This spring, Heaven’s Basement will be touring Australia on the massive Soundwave Festival.
