Next year, Guns N’ Roses are returning to the road. The band confirmed Saturday plans for a long-rumored world tour in 2025. The band are pushing the cryptic slogan, “Because what you want and what you get are two completely different things.” Exact dates and venues are expected to be announced soon, possibly next week.

Additionally, Guns N’ Roses are likely to be headlining Firenze Rocks in Florence, Italy next June. The festival shared the same official tour video that the band posted on their official social media channels. So far, Green Day officially confirmed to headline the final day of the Firenze Rocks festival on Sunday, 15 June, 2025.
After teasing their return to the road over the weekend, Guns N’ Roses have formally announced dates and venues for a full world tour slated for 2025. The band previously shared a video featuring live footage of the band, along with the slogan, “Because what you want and what you get are two completely different things.” Now, the long-rumored world tour is officially happening. The run begins with a very significant show on 23 May – the band’s first-ever performance in Saudi Arabia. Guns N’ Roses will also be performing in Georgia, Lithuania, and Luxembourg for the first time in their career. The 24-show tour will see the band perform across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East, with stops in Serbia, Turkey, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, and more.

Very special guests for the trek will be Rival Sons, the Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, and rap icons Public Enemy on select dates. Tickets go on sale starting with a Nightrain Fan Club pre-sale tomorrow at 9am local time. General tickets go on sale this Friday, December 13, at 9am local time.
In addition to their tour dates, Guns N’ Roses are headlining Firenze Rocks in Florence, Italy next June. After more tour dates, Guns N’ Roses are also headlining Rock for People in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic on 15 June Wacken Open Air in Wacken, Germany on 31 July.
While more live shows are always a good thing,, fans are certainly wondering if the band will be touring behind a new album. The band’s last proper studio outing was Chinese Democracy. Their sixth album, it was finally released on November 23, 2008 via Black Frog/Geffen after various lineup shifts and label issues. Prior to that, the last Guns N’ Roses album of original material was their massive double album Use Your Illusions I and Use Your Illusions II, released in September of 1991.
In 2021, Guns N’ Roses came out with a new EP Hard Skool. It was the first time in 28 years that vocalist Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan collaborated together on new material together. The trio was accompanied on the new studio effort by the current members of the GNR lineup, which is completed by guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer, as well as keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese. The EP also features “Absurd,” a re-worked track from the Chinese Democracy sessions, as well as live recordings of the band’s ‘91 power ballad “Don’t Cry” and “You’re Crazy” from their seminal debut LP Appetite For Destruction. Released back in August of 2021, “Absurd” was the first new Guns N’ Roses song in 13 years.
In late 2023, Guns N’ Roses released their latest single, “The General.” The track is a B-Side to their previously released track, “Perhaps.“ Both songs are available on the 7″ vinyl version through Geffen. They are the band’s only new pieces of recorded material in the last 15 years.
The previously released “Perhaps” was originally conceived during the Chinese Democracy recording sessions in the early 2000s.

On November 2, 2023, Guns N’ Roses wrapped up their two-night stand at the storied Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. The band cranked through stellar sets alongside very special guests, GRAMMY® Award winners The Black Keys. During their second show, Guns N’ Roses gave their new song “The General” its live debut.
Guns N’ Roses kicked off the North American leg of their 2023 world tour in August 2023 with two shows in Canada. Country music superstar and frequent collaborator Carrie Underwood was the band’s special guest. During her set, she played to her audience, busting out rock covers by Joan Jett, Motörhead, Led Zeppelin, Pat Benatar, Heart, and The Rolling Stones. During GnR’s set, Underwood joined them for “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Paradise City.” She also performed with Guns N’ Roses on August 26 at GEODIS Park in Nashville.
Back in October 2023, Guns N’ Roses took the stage at Power Trip in Indio, California. They performed alongside fellow rock icons Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Tool, and AC/DC, who are also returning to the road in 2025. and also performed. On November 5, 2024, Guns N’ Roses concluded their tour with a headlining stand at Heaven & Hell Festival in Mexico City.

Following one of the biggest music reunions of the century, they headlined Coachella and sold 5 million-plus tickets on the Not In This Lifetime Tour.
