Nothing More and Flat Black will serve as special guests
After their current acoustic tour, Godsmack are getting ready to plug back in for a string of summer shows. The band is set to hit the road on July 19 for a brief run with very special guests Nothing More and Flat Black, featuring former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook. Artist pre-sales starts Wednesday, March 20 at 10AM local time and runs through Thursday, March 21 at 10PM using the password: TRUTH. The password will work for the Godsmack Artist Pre-sale only, not for the local pre-sales. Local venue pre-sales start on Thursday, March 21 at 10AM and and last until 10PM. General tickets go on sale Friday, March 22 at 10AM.
Godsmack launched The Vibes Tour on February 15 at Hard Rock Live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The run wraps up on May 5 in at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Very special guest for all shows is Danish singer-songwriter Bastian da Cruz.
In addition to their acoustic tour dates, Godsmack will be performing a full electric set when the headline Arizona Bike Week on April 6, 2024 in Scottsdale.
In 2004, Godsmack released an acoustic EP, The Other Side (Universal/Republic). It was produced by Dave Bottrill (Tool, Muse, Stone Sour), who previously worked with the band on their 2003 hit record, Faceless. The album featured acoustic renditions of previously released songs, as well as three new tracks – “Running Blind,” “Touché,” and “Voices.” The gold-certified EP peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, with “Running Blind” and “Touché” each scoring the band a Top 10 Mainstream Rock hit. Former Godsmack guitarist Lee Richards performs on “Touché.”
Godsmack are currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal self-titled debut album. their seminal debut album the vinyl treatment for its 25th anniversary. The band is reissuing the multi-platinum record on a special limited edition 2-LP orange vinyl, which comes with an exclusive 12″x12″ lithograph. Additionally, a standard black vinyl version is available. The band has also curated a special merchandise line surrounding the album, which includes a t-shirt, hoodie, tote bag, and exclusive foil poster.
Godsmack released their eighth studio album Lighting Up the Sky on February 24 via BMG. The record hit No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. It is be available on CD, standard black vinyl, and limited edition blue vinyl. Fans can also purchase the album digitally.
This spring, Nothing More are teaming up with Wage War for a co-headlining run across the United States. The tour begins on April 16 at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina and wraps up on May 17 at the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, Indiana. Very special guests for the trek will be Veil of Maya and Sleep Theory.
Critically acclaimed, three-time GRAMMY® nominees Nothing More — Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums) — released the deluxe version of their critically acclaimed 2022 album Spirits via Better Noise Music last year. It was accompanied by their very own meta-personality test, Spirit Test, which was the inspiration for the band’s first-ever graphic novel – Spirits Vol. 1, released through Z2 Comics.
Newcomers Flat Black feature former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook. Since forming last year, the group has released three singles – “Halo,” “It’s Your Lack of Respect,” and “Justice Will Be Done.” On Friday, March 22, the band is releasing another new song “Nothing to Some” with a special guest appearance by Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor on vocals.
