Ghost Spirit are back with their first new piece of material since 2019. The L.A. hardcore outfit unleashed “Kill the Strife” on Friday via Blue Swan/Rise Records. Stream the official music video below now.
Vocalist Alex Bigman states, “’Kill the Strife’ is a song about elevating yourself from darkness and finding strength within our punk/hardcore community. It was a labor of love and it’s dedicated to everyone that’s been with us since we started the band. We’re excited to share this new sonic evolution of Ghost Spirit and can’t wait for what the future holds!”
The track was mixed by Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Knocked Loose) and engineered by Phil Odom (Code Orange, Portrayal of Guilt).
Ghost Spirit released their last album Hourglass in 2019. The record landed on Rolling Stone’s staff’s personal best-of lists, and praised by the media for capturing the band’s DIY spirit. Currently, the band is working on music for their next album.
