This spring, Foo Fighters make their return with a full festival docket. The band will perform at Boston Calling, Sonic Temple, Bonnaroo, Sea Hear Now, and more. They mark Foo Fighters’ first official appearances as a band since the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. Last year, Foo Fighters were slated to perform at Boston Calling as well as Welcome to Rockville, but canceled in the wake of Hawkins’ passing. While it remains unclear who will sit behind the kit, rock fans are enjoying a bittersweet moment of seeing the band’s name on festival bills again.
Foo Fighters’ last live performance was in Buenos Aires’ Hipódromo de San Isidro at Lollapalooza Argentina.
