Deftones, Gojira Postpone 2021 Tour

The trek will begin next spring in Portland.

Deftones and Gojira have postponed their 2021 fall tour. The trek has been pushed back to Spring 2022. Three new shows have been added to the existing itinerary in Las Vegas, Nashville, and Cincinnati.

Support act Poppy will not be joining the rescheduled tour.

Gojira added, “Although we are bummed we won’t see you with the Deftones this August we are already counting the days till we see you next Spring with 3 new dates!”

Deftones released their ninth studio album Ohms last September. The record peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart. It received plenty of critical acclaim from many of the top music publications around the globe.

Gojira will be touring in support of their long-awaited seventh album Fortitude which dropped back in April. The album hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Hard Rock Albums charts. Their previous outing Magma was nominated garnered the band a GRAMMY Award nomination for Best Rock Album.
